We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join our waste team at Chertsey STW.
A Mechanical Technician is required to support the Process Technicians in ensuring the overall operations of Chertsey Sewage treatment works. You will need to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate, mechanical plant equipment, alongside supporting operating the plant.
Working within the team, you will follow a robust maintenance plan as well as getting involved in installation projects, mechanical fault finding, project commissioning and emergency breakdown repairs to ensure our plant operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
What you’ll be doing as the Mechanical Technician
Base Location - Chertsey STW - KT16 0AR.
38 hours per week, Monday-Friday.7:30 am -3:36 pm plus the inclusion onto a standby rota, for which you will receive additional payment.
All PPE, tools, plus van will be provided.
