Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a Technical Account Manager with a hands-on mechanical engineering background. You will build and maintain relationships with 15-20 key OEM and end-user clients from an engineering perspective.

The role blends scheduled technical meetings with reactionary enquiries, offering training, technical support and expert solutions. You will travel to customer sites, aiming for around 20 visits per month and 24 visits a year for select accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Service, Maintenance, Technical Support, Applications or Sales Engineer with a hands-on mechanical engineering background.
• Qualified Mechanical Engineer (ONC, HNC or HND+).
• Strong mechanical engineering understanding with interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with 15-20 Key Account OEM and End User clients.
• Split time between technical meetings and reactionary meetings from enquiries.
• Provide expert training and technical solutions to engineering problems.
