Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is recruiting a Technical Sales Representative for a global engineering manufacturer based in Coventry. The role blends engineering knowledge with commercial responsibilities, covering the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions with regular travel.

You will manage an established customer portfolio, develop new opportunities, and provide technical support while working with OEMs, distributors and end users to deliver tailored engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace engineering.
• Experience in technical sales or applications engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across your territory.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, distributors and end users.
• Visit customers regularly, spending >60% of your time in the field.
• Provide technical advice and application support, working closely with internal product specialists.
• Support engineering discussions around existing and new product opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal service teams to deliver the best solution for your customers.
• Implement agreed pricing strategies and maintain an accurate CRM pipeline.
• Deliver against sales targets and business objectives.
