Job summary

Murphy is seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors / Pipe Fitters for their Energy team on a permanent basis. The role involves overseeing pipe fitting works, ensuring safety and quality, while mentoring the onsite team. Ideal candidates will be suitably qualified in engineering and have experience in energy projects within the gas or oil sectors.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Pipe Fitting works and oversee onsite team.
• Ensure works are conducted safely, to timescale, and to quality standards.
• Produce daily production reports.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

• Undertake Pipe Fitting works, overseeing onsite team.
• Ability to work from Iso drawings, cutting lists.
• Clearly define expectations with onsite team.
• Ensure that works are being carried out safely to timescale and to the required standard/quality.

What Do You Need:

• Suitably qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, Time Served ideally.
• SMSTS.
• Ability to follow, interpret and explain technical instructions.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and ability to produce daily production report.
• Previous experience working on Energy projects within the gas or oil industry.
• Flexibility to work away as required.

Package:

• Rates open to discussion
• 39-hour STD week
• 45 hours working week.
• Time and a half any hours over 39hours.
• Double time Sundays.
• 30 days holiday + other Murphy benefits
