Mechanical Supervisor Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful candidate will oversee remedial work at our Glasgow site and participate in maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in Marine or HGV Engineering, completed a Mechanical apprenticeship, and have prior experience in team management as a Mechanical Supervisor. Candidates should be based within a commutable distance of Glasgow.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all workshop work undertaken
2. Perform onsite servicing and repairs of Hydraulic and Electric Pumps
3. Identify major PDI issues
4. Coordinate equipment preparation for hire
5. Manage onsite repair and maintenance work
6. Occasional travel to customer sites

Requirements

1. Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor
2. Strong knowledge of Hydraulic and Electric Pumps
3. Experience in team management
4. Willingness to perform both hands-on and supervisory duties
5. Based within a reasonable distance of Glasgow
6. Full UK Driving Licence

Remuneration

• 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Pension scheme
