Job summary

CPR Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for an on-site M&E healthcare project in Gillingham, Kent. The role is a 3–4 month contract starting ASAP and requires strong on-site supervision of mechanical installers.

You will plan, coordinate and monitor mechanical installations, read drawings, ensure RAMS compliance and drive health and safety on site, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to keep the programme on track.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required and CSCS card holder preferred.
• First aid certification is required.
• Minimum two years' experience in a mechanical supervisor role.

Responsibilities

• Supervising operatives and subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Planning and coordinating mechanical installation activities to meet the construction programme.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Monitoring installation of HVAC, plumbing etc.
• Ensuring all works comply with health and safety legislation, conducting toolbox talks, and enforcing site procedures.
• Managing labour levels, material deliveries, and equipment required for the works.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues, installation conflicts, and programme delays.
• Reviewing RAMS and ensuring operatives work in accordance with them.

Our client are an established Kent based contractor, and they are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on an M&E healthcare project in Gillingham

Duties for a Supervisor
