• Conduct toolbox talks and provide regular progress updates.

We are recruiting for the following long-term project in Plymouth, which starts in early September '26

Required: Mechanical Supervisor

Sector/Industry: Mechanical Building Services

Location: Plymouth (PL5)

Duration: at least 2years on this project, could be several more years.

Self-employed: Pay rate (CIS): circa £325p/day but open to negotiation

Permanent (PAYE): circa £60k + van (based on 45hrs p/w)

Site Hours: 07.30-17.00

1st Project: new water mains installation (10" pipework, either in s/steel or concrete lined). Other projects to follow will include replacement pipework (Hot & Cold, Compressed Air & Steam)

Qualifications: CSCS card & SSSTS (2 day course, which can be completed online)

Lodge/travel expenses: unfortunately, not provided

Key Responsibilities (Mechanical Supervisor/Mechanical Foreman)

• Superviseallmechanicalworks on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors & direct workforce
• Monitor progress and ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and health & safety requirements.
• Liaise with the site management team, engineers, and other trades.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.

Essential Requirements

• Strong experiencesupervisingcommercial/industrial mechanical building services packages on work (Plant Rooms, Heating Systems on Offices, Schools etc).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid Trade related CSCS Card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
