BMSL Group Ltd in Carmarthen, West Wales, is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead heating system upgrades, heat pump installations and plantroom refurbishments on school decarbonisation projects. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate mechanical subcontractors and ensure work in occupied environments is delivered safely, on time and to programme.

Qualifications

• Must have site management experience on mechanical building services projects.
• ASHP project experience and heating system upgrades are essential.
• Strong knowledge of plantrooms and mechanical services required.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors on live projects is required.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel as needed.
• Experience delivering public sector refurbishment projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on mechanical refurbishment projects.
• Lead heating system upgrades and heat pump installations.
• Oversee plantroom refurbishment and mechanical services works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour.
• Drive programme performance, safety, and quality to specification.
• Ensure documentation, inspections and progress reporting are completed.
• Operate within occupied school environments with minimal disruption.
