Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager in London to lead the delivery of a £10M mechanical project. You will coordinate site activities, manage subcontractors and labour, and ensure works are completed on time, to high standards and in line with RAMS.

You will oversee day-to-day installation, monitor progress against the programme and maintain strong client and project team relationships. SMSTS or equivalent site management qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience in a mechanical subcontractor environment.
• Proven experience managing mechanical installation works on site.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pipework and plant installation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and keep works on programme.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Relevant site management qualifications, such as SMSTS.

We’re looking for 2 experienced Mechanical Site Managers to join a major £10M mechanical project in London.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager who has built their career within a mechanical environment and is comfortable taking ownership of site delivery, coordinating teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

As Mechanical Site Manager, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of the mechanical works on site.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors and labour, monitoring progress and working closely with the wider project team to keep everything moving to programme.
