Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary team of operators and ensure production targets are met.
Operate equipment to required standards and manage maintenance of tissue converting machinery and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical faults and minimise downtime; perform planned preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and document maintenance activities for safety compliance.
Assist with new equipment installations and manage contractor relationships.
Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and reliability.
Carry out basic production operator tasks as needed.

Job Overview

Leading a multidisciplinary team of operators.
Operating equipment to the required standards while achieving set production targets.
Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including tissue converting machinery, packaging equipment, and ancillary systems.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical faults, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and address issues, while documenting maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
Assisting with new equipment installations and managing contractor relationships.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and developing maintenance procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
Performing basic production operator tasks as required.
