Job summary

Facilitate Search Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer in Birmingham to maintain critical building services on a prestigious site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, monitor BMS and HVAC systems, and ensure safety compliance across all work.

Qualifications

• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Familiar with CDM regulations and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Operate, monitor and maintain BMS and HVAC systems.
• Maintain chilled water circuits and chilled beam systems.
• Perform electrical testing and inspections as required.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation, including COSHH and risk assessments.
• Follow CDM procedures and site-specific safe systems of work.
• Respond to emergencies and support critical site operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service while liaising with site stakeholders.
