Job summary

CBW in South London is seeking a Mechanical Shift Engineer for an on-site role at a commercial education building. The ideal candidate is mechanically biased with NVQ/C&G qualifications and a proven track record in building maintenance, to work with an on-site maintenance team delivering mechanical and fabric upkeep.

The role involves varied duties across air handling systems, cooling towers, pumps, water treatment, BMS monitoring, and UPS readings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
• Mechanically / Plumbing qualified - City & Guilds Level 2/3 etc.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Client facing capability.
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning).
• Dealing with all aspects of maintenance, cooling towers and signing off work complete for audits.
• Chillers - Reset.
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets.
• Pumps, motors.
• Water Treatment.
• BMS System - Monitor (e.g. Hot & Cold).
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings.

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in South London. CBW is currently looking for A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a Commercial Education building. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G etc) and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Dealing with all aspects of maintenance & cooling towers & signing off work complete for an audit
• Chillers - Reset
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

Hours of work / Rate

• Monday - Friday
• split shift - 9-5 / 10-7, weekly rotating
• Starting Monday 17/08
• Temp to perm
• Up to £46k
