The Labour Group on behalf of a mechanical contractor with turnover around £30m seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the mechanical package on a residential development in South West London. The role is a 12-month contract with potential for extension, rate £350-£425 per day (Ltd or CIS) depending on experience.

You will manage delivery, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, liaise with main contractor and client, and ensure HSE compliance throughout the project.

Qualifications

• A relevant mechanical qualification.
• Valid SMSTS.
• Experience managing mechanical projects valued at £5m+.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Excellent organisational, communication and subcontractor management skills.
• Residential project experience is advantageous.

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Liaise with the main contractor, client and design team to resolve technical and project delivery issues.
• Monitor progress, manage procurement and report on project performance.
• Ensure works comply with specifications and health and safety requirements.
• Oversee commissioning and handover of the mechanical installations.

Mechanical Project Manager - Residential

Location: South West London

Rate: £350-£425 per day - Ltd or CIS, depending on experience

Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with the opportunity to move onto further projects

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager on behalf of a mechanical contractor with an annual turnover of circa £30m. Our client requires an experienced individual to manage the mechanical package on a residential development in South West London.

This is an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for continued work across the contractor's upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of the mechanical works, ensuring programme, budget and quality targets are achieved.

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Liaise with the main contractor, client and design team to resolve technical and project delivery issues.

• Monitor progress, manage procurement and report on project performance.
