Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing M&E contractor in London. You will own projects from planning through to delivery, coordinating site teams, suppliers and clients.

You will manage procurement, monitor programmes and budgets, ensure safety and quality, and report progress to stakeholders.

The role offers £75,000-£80,000 with benefits including private healthcare, gym membership contributions and travel expenses.

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing M&E contractor, working across commercial projects in London.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys having real ownership of their projects and wants to be involved from the initial planning and procurement stages right through to successful completion.

You'll be responsible for managing the full delivery of mechanical projects, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, main contractors, clients and consultants to make sure everything is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.

The Role

• Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction/planning through to completion
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Managing procurement and ensuring materials and resources are available when required
• Working closely with main contractors, clients and consultants
• Monitoring project programmes, budgets and overall performance
• Managing quality and ensuring works are completed to the required specification
• Attending site and project meetings and providing regular updates to stakeholders
• Identifying and resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Building strong working relationships with clients, contractors and project teams

What We're Looking For

• 4-5 years' experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
• Strong experience delivering commercial mechanical projects
• Experience working within an M&E contractor environment
• Good knowledge of project delivery from planning through to completion
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving
• A commercially aware and organised approach
