Job summary

Derygate Ltd, a Derbyshire-based family-run building services contractor, is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee HVAC installations on commercial and industrial projects across the Midlands and nationwide.

The role includes a mix of office-based planning and site visits, managing multiple projects with budgets from small refurbishments to large scale builds, and ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Contracts Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, HVAC Project Manager, or HVAC Contracts Manager.
• Ideally qualified to ONC/HNC/HND level in Building Services.
• Able to run multiple jobs at once.

Responsibilities

• Office-based one or two days per week, with the remainder of the week overseeing 3 to 4 sites nationwide.
• Oversee and co-ordinate the HVAC works associated with each project, in conjunction with other Mechanical services.
• Work alongside the Commercial Manager to financially manage all aspects of each project, ensuring delivery on budget and on time.
• Carry out regular site visits, ensuring all labour resources are provided in line with the scheduled plan.

A Derbyshire based, family run Building Services Contractor specialising in Commercial and Industrial projects across the Midlands is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager.

The Mechanical Project Manager will be given full responsibility for a wide range of AC installation projects within the Commercial sector. Projects are typically small works, ranging from £10,000 to £500,000 in value, including CAT A and CAT B refurbishment installs.

The successful Mechanical Project Manager will:

• Be expected to be office based one or two days per week, with the remainder of the week overseeing 3 to 4 sites nationwide.
• Be responsible for overseeing and co-ordinating the HVAC works associated with each project, in conjunction with other Mechanical services.
• Work alongside the Commercial Manager to financially manage all aspects of each project, ensuring delivery on budget and on time.
• Carry out regular site visits, ensuring all labour resources are provided in line with the scheduled plan.

Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, HVAC Project Manager, or HVAC Contracts Manager.
• Ideally qualified to ONC/HNC/HND level in Building Services.
• Able to run multiple jobs at once.
