Job summary

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC) for a client in Brightlingsea, Essex. You will manage air conditioning and ventilation installation projects from pre-start through to completion, coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials and project programmes.

You will attend and lead client and site meetings, monitor costs and variations, support procurement activities and ensure Health & Safety compliance across all live projects.

Qualifications

• Previous Mechanical Project Management experience within Building Services.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical installations.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and variations.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• CSCS Card preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness.

• Manage air conditioning and ventilation installation projects from pre-start through to completion
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and project programmes
• Attend and lead client and site meetings
• Monitor project costs, variations and support procurement activities
• Manage project quality, commissioning and handover documentation
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all live projects
• Support project reporting, forecasting and resource planning
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards
• Carry out additional project management duties as required

Additional Responsibilities

• Experience delivering projects valued between £100k - £1m
• Strong understanding of air conditioning, ventilation and ductwork systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
• Manage direct labour, subcontractors and suppliers effectively
• Ensure projects remain commercially viable and programme deadlines are achieved
• Maintain excellent communication with clients and internal teams

Hours:

• Monday to Friday

Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
