Job summary

NetZero is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical and HVAC projects across the South East & UK. You will drive delivery from planning through installation, commissioning and handover, managing budgets, procurement, and subcontractors while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HVAC/mechanical projects from inception to completion.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control capabilities.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across London and nationwide.
• Experience coordinating design, installation and handover, with safe delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple mechanical/HVAC projects simultaneously.
• Own project programmes, budgets, procurement and subcontractors.
• Handle variations, valuations and commercial/cost control.
• Coordinate design, installation, commissioning and handover processes.
• Lead project teams and support junior PMs in delivery.
• Chair client and project meetings to ensure alignment and escalations.
• Ensure H&S, CDM and quality standards are maintained on all sites.

Senior Project Manager - Mechanical / HVAC

South East / UK Projects

We're working with an established and growing mechanical & HVAC contractor looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager.

You'll take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple mechanical and air conditioning projects, with individual project values of up to £1.5m, from initial planning through installation, commissioning and handover.

The role will involve:

• Managing multiple mechanical/HVAC projects simultaneously
• Project programmes, budgets, procurement and subcontractors
• Variations, valuations and commercial/cost control
• Coordinating design, installation, commissioning and handover
• Managing project teams and supporting junior PMs
• Chairing client and project meetings
• Ensuring H&S, CDM and quality standards are maintained

What we're looking for:

• Strong Project Management experience with an HVAC/mechanical contractor
• Solid technical knowledge of HVAC, air conditioning, ventilation and mechanical installations
• Proven experience delivering projects from inception to completion
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Ideally based in the South East, within approximately one hour of Orpington
• Comfortable travelling to projects across London and, when required, nationwide
• Full UK driving licence

Experience across commercial, retail, banking, data centre or critical environments would be particularly relevant.
