Job summary

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC) based in Brightlingsea, Essex on a permanent basis. You will oversee air conditioning and ventilation installations from planning through to completion.

You will coordinate labour, subcontractors and material, lead client meetings, manage costs and ensure HSE compliance while delivering projects on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Previous Mechanical Project Management experience within Building Services.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical installations.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and variations.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• SMSTS qualification preferred.
• CSCS Card preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage air conditioning and ventilation installation projects from pre-start through to completion.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and project programmes.
• Attend and lead client and site meetings.
• Monitor project costs, variations and support procurement activities.
• Manage project quality, commissioning and handover documentation.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all live projects.
• Support project reporting, forecasting and resource planning.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
• Carry out additional project management duties as required.
