Job summary

ECG Facilities Services in Warrington is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee HVAC fit-out projects ranging from £50k to £1.5m. The ideal candidate will manage project delivery, maintaining high standards and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage Mechanical Fit‑out projects from start to finish, with value between £50k to £1.5m.
• Take commercial responsibility for the profit and loss of installation contracts.
• Assist the preconstruction and design teams with tenders and estimates.
• Manage delivery, commissioning and hand‑over procedures and work to an agreed quality plan.
• Resolve contractual conflicts as they arise.
• Manage technical queries during the contract.
• Maintain good working relationships with clients, contractors and sub‑contractors.
• Manage external contractors.
• Prepare Health & Safety documentation and forward to our Compliance Team for approval.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Proven experience delivering HVAC projects on time and within budget.
• Background in commercial fit‑out projects.
• Contract management experience.
• Completed relevant Health & Safety courses and current CSCS Card.
• Management experience of installations relevant to HVAC industry.
• Relevant building services industry experience, especially HVAC.
• Experience assembling project documentation, including submission of Operation & Maintenance Manuals to clients.
• Assumption of responsibility, upon hand‑over from design to completion, for project management.
