Job summary

CBW is recruiting a Mechanical Night Shift Engineer to be based at a large commercial building near Tottenham Court Road, London. You will be responsible for mechanical planned and reactive maintenance on a static site, working within a two-person team.

The ideal candidate is mechanically qualified (Level 2) with experience in commercial building maintenance, able to carry out tasks such as pumps, air handling units, plumbing, and emergency light testing.

Qualifications

• Must provide copies of trade certificates (Essential).
• Experience working in a large commercial building.
• Must be able to get to the site for 08:00 am start.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Contractual KPI & SLA requirements are met.
• Undertake all allocated tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify and report faults with building services equipment and resolve them.
• Escalate any H&S issues as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff regarding service levels.
• Report service affecting issues to site management for client communication.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks.
• Emergency light testing
• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - AHU/FCU (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers, etc.

Mechanical Night Shift Engineer – 4 on 4 off - Exciting Commercial Building –Tottenham Court Road, London – £50,000 Per annum

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW is currently recruiting for a night shift engineer to be based at a large commercial building by Tottenham Court Road. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified mechanical engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance and be able to turn their hand to a variety of maintenance tasks. He or she will be required to carry out mechanical planned and reactive maintenance across this large static site. Working within a team of two, he or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements
