Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to service pumping stations across Boston, Sleaford, Skegness and surrounding areas. You will maintain pumps, valves, gearboxes and motors and work with telemetry systems to optimise asset performance and resilience.

Candidates should hold NVQ Level 2 (ideally Level 3) inMechanical/Engineering, have completed a relevant apprenticeship, and hold a full UK driving licence.

• NVQ level 2/3 mechanical engineering qualification (or equivalent).
• Completed a relevant apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pumps, valves, gearboxes and motors at pumping stations.
• Utilise telemetry and systems such as Ovarro data to optimise performance.
• Support asset resilience and maintenance across listed Lincolnshire sites.

Job description

Starting Basic salary (plus standby & overtime payments): £39,520 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject) £35,360 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject) Clear progression opportunities to earn up to £47,840 Basic with further training and experience All PPE, tools, and fuel card provided Permanent Full-time, with flexibility for part-time, 37 hours, 5-day planned working pattern Location: Boston, Sleaford, Skegness and surrounding Lincolnshire areas

With support from a collaborative team, you will have an opportunity to develop your commercial and/ or industrial experience with assets such as: pumps, valves, gearboxes and motors. Experience working with mechanical /Electrical control systems, telemetry systems and general water industry plant maintenance would be advantageous.

What does it take to be a Mechanical Maintenance Technician?

To be successful in this role, you will have obtained at least an NVQ level 2 (ideally level 3) Mechanical engineering qualification (or equivalent), completed a relevant apprenticeship and hold a full UK driving licence.
