Job summary

Cargill's Port of Liverpool CHP site is seeking a Level 3 Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimise plant performance. You will balance hands-on work with resource management, using SAP to oversee maintenance activities and ensure continuous operation at Brocklebank and Seaforth production sites.

The role demands a proactive approach, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to challenge processes for efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• HNC/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent with strong engineering principles.
• High levels in fault finding and diagnostic ability.
• IOSH (Managing Safely) or equivalent safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support improvements to plant performance.
• Schedule maintenance activities to minimise contractor labour.
• Maintain plant and equipment and perform service inspections to KPI targets.
• Provide expert technical advice to the Maintenance Coordinator.
• Manage contract labour and safety assessments.
