Job summary

Welland Operations is seeking a Mechanical-Biased Multi-Skilled Technician to join the Maintenance Department at our gasification power plant in North West Leicestershire. You will play a key role in maintaining mechanical and electrical assets and delivering both preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate has a Level 3 qualification in Maintenance Engineering and at least 4 years of experience in a heavy process environment. This position includes participation in a 1-in-4 call-out rota system and offers opportunities to contribute to plant upgrades and improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ maintenance experience in a heavy process environment.
• Time served or Level 3 qualification in Maintenance Engineering.
• Competent user of CMMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and condition-based monitoring.
• Deliver scheduled PPM and timely reactive maintenance activities.
