Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Global manufacturer in the Nottingham area. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role focuses on hands-on servicing, inspection, and proactive improvements to maintain world-class manufacturing standards.

You will service, repair, and adjust machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement within a high-speed production environment. This permanent role offers an excellent package and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• ONC in Mechanical Engineering.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing.
• Equivalent of any above in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Service, adjust and repair machinery using safe techniques.
• Inspect equipment, report on condition and performance; lead improvements.
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Keep the site running to world-class standards.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician
• Location: Nottingham area
• Pay Range: up to £47,000 plus excellent package and Overtime
• Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking for hands-on, Mechanically Biased Engineers to maintain a production manufacturing site, which produces outstanding industry-leading products. Key Responsibilities - Mechanical Engineering Technician

• To service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner
• To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements; you can lead - you have the autonomy and freedom to improve your working environment
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules
• Keep the site running to world-class standards

Qualifications & Requirements - Mechanical Engineering Technician

• ONC in Mechanical Engineering
