Job summary

Omega Resource Group is recruiting for a Global manufacturer in the Nottingham area. This permanent Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role offers a competitive package and opportunities to work on high-speed, automated manufacturing lines.

We are seeking hands-on, mechanically biased engineers to maintain a production site that processes thousands of units daily. The role includes preventive maintenance, fault finding, and improvement initiatives within a world-class manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• ONC in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or maintenance or equivalent manufacturing background preferred.
• Manufacturing background preferred or equivalent in electrical/mechanical fields.

Responsibilities

• To service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner.
• To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements; you can lead - you have the autonomy and freedom to improve your working environment.
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules.
• Keep the site running to world-class standards.

• Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician

• Pay Range: up to £47,000 plus excellent package and Overtime
• Contract Type: Permanent
