Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced, highly automated factory in the UK. You will carry out mechanical maintenance and preventative tasks to maximise uptime on automated production machinery.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical bias, apprentice training, Level 3 Engineering qualification, and at least 8 years' experience in production environments. The role offers a 4 on 4 off shift (12-hour days/nights) with a salary of £55,000–£55,500.

Qualifications

• Mechanical bias and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Apprentice trained engineer with Level 3 Engineering qualification.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a production environment as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance on fully automated production machinery.
• Ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of production lines.
• Work within a fast-paced, state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Mechanical bias
• Apprentice trained engineer
• Minimum 8 years' experience working within a production environment as an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification
• Must have a great attitude towards learning and self development
• Able to hit the ground running, wanting to get hands on assisting the team
• A team player who enjoys keeping busy
• To live within 30 minutes from site

Desirable Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
