Job summary

Quintall in Teesside seeks an Assistant Area Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to plan and specify maintenance work in line with SABIC workflows and EHSS standards. You will diagnose equipment issues, optimise interventions, and ensure resourcing supports timely delivery.

The role requires a broad maintenance/engineering background, COMAH-experience, and a qualification such as an HNC, with progression toward Incorporated Engineer status.

Qualifications

• Broad background in maintenance and engineering.
• Experience on COMAH-registered plants.
• Working towards Incorporated Engineer status with a Professional Engineering Institution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and specify maintenance work with proper resourcing and planning.
• Provide engineering expertise and diagnose equipment malfunctions to mitigate EHSS & Production risks.
• Collate and analyse equipment reliability and maintenance expenditure data to identify improvements.
