Job summary

RGR is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a datacentre in Romford. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps and related plant within a highly critical environment.

You will join a large team on continental shift patterns (days and nights) with paid overtime and an employment package. On-site parking is available and training/development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanically biased maintenance in commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services plant equipment.
• Datacentre experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance.
• Perform remedial works on AHUs, FCUs, CRAH/CRAC units and pumps.
• Work within a large team on critical infrastructure.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | Shift Role - Days and Nights | Static Site - Romford | £52,000 + Paid overtime & Employment Package | Datacentre Environment

We are actively recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned maintenance (PPMs), reactive maintenance and remedial works within a highly critical datacentre environment based in Romford, East London / Essex.

As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a large team, working on equipment such as Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Computer Room Handling Units (CRAH units), Computer Room Air Conditioning systems (CRAC units), Pressurisation Units, Pumps, Valves, Expansion Vessels, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, Chilled Water Systems etc.

Employment Package:

• Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
• Status: Permanent, PAYE
• Hours: Continental Shifts - Days & Nights: 6 on, 4 off, 4 on, 6 off, 4 on, 4 off.
• Salary: £52,000
• Paid overtime available.

Requirements:

• Must hold experience carrying out a mechanically biased maintenance position within commercial environments.
• Must have a strong understanding of mechanical building services plant equipment / plant rooms.
• Experience within datacentres would be advantageous but not essential.
