Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in Kettering. The role focuses on fault finding, breakdown response, planned maintenance and continuous improvement to maximise uptime and reliability.

You'll work closely with production teams, benefit from overtime paid at 1.5x, and have access to a strong benefits package and career development opportunities within the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience within printing, packaging, mailing or automated production environments.
• Experience using CMMS/Maintenance Management systems.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical fault finding and repairs
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
• Breakdown response and root cause analysis
• Supporting machine reliability and production uptime
