Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Willand, Devon is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to keep production lines running and oversee maintenance schedules. You will perform repairs on production machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics, with a time-served apprenticeship or NVQ3 and the chance for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Time-Served Apprenticeship or NVQ 3 as a minimum with related industry experience.
• Desirable: Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or fast-moving production machinery.
• Ongoing training and development opportunities.
• High overtime potential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Engineering and Maintenance repairs on-site, largely for Production Machinery and some building repairs.
• Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Supporting the team with machinery breakdowns as needed and contributing to some maintenance planning.
• Ensuring smooth operations across the site as part of a wider maintenance team.
