Job summary
CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a healthcare facility in Warwick. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on-site, working with the on-site team and reporting to a senior engineer.
The role requires a plumbing or mechanical qualification and a proven track record in building maintenance. The position offers a competitive salary (£43,000), overtime where applicable, and opportunities for progression within a supportive team.
Qualifications
- Plumbing or mechanical trade qualification required.
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
- Copies of trade certificates to be provided on request.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor mechanical plant and equipment.
- Maintain pumps, motors, seals and bearings.
- Plumbing tasks including unblocking toilets, replacing taps and washers.
- Monitor BMS systems and temperature controls.
- Carry out M&E/Fabric maintenance and keep logbooks updated.
- Adhere to planned preventive and reactive maintenance regimes.
- Install/replace hot water cylinders, pipes, boilers and related components.
- Perform routine servicing and repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment.
