2 Sisters Food Group in Willand, South Devon is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to keep site operations running by carrying out repairs and executing planned and preventative maintenance on production machinery.

You'll work on conveyors, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics, with a continental 4-on/4-off shift pattern and day/night options. The role offers excellent benefits and career progression within a major UK food manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Time-Served Apprenticeship or NVQ 3 in Mechanical Maintenance or related discipline.
• Desirable: Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or fast-moving production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Engineering and Maintenance repairs on-site, largely for Production Machinery and some building repairs.
• Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Supporting the team with machinery breakdowns as needed and contributing to some maintenance planning.
• Ensuring smooth operations across the site as part of a wider maintenance team.
