Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd in Kendal, Cumbria, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) for LEN shift, 42 hours per week, salary £40,385–£46,385 including shift premium up to £4,385. The role focuses on repairs, preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics across a major manufacturing site.

You will join a privately owned food manufacturing site undergoing a £40m investment, reporting to the Team Leader and Engineering Manager within the Secondary Mechanical Team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering / Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, planned maintenance, installations and improvements across the site.
• Fault diagnostics to minimize downtime and support production targets.
• Work as part of the Secondary Mechanical Team (Packaging & Blending) under the Team Leader and Engineering Manager.
