Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a large FMCG site in Gainsborough, on a 4 on 4 off days pattern. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing operations and support continuous improvements to minimise downtime.

The role offers £42,000–£45,000 per year plus bonus, training and clear progression routes within a structured engineering team.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineer with a strong mechanical background in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Experience with breakdown repairs, PPM routines and fault finding.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical background, looking for a role where you can develop your skillset, be recognised through a clear grading structure and progress long-term within a stable site?
On offer is a permanent days-based position within a large, well-established manufacturer supplying major FMCG brands, where you will receive ongoing on-site training and development and have clear routes to increased responsibility.
You will be part of a mixed-skilled preventative maintenance team delivering site-wide PPM schedules, supporting production by responding to breakdowns when required, and contributing continuous improvement ideas to minimise downtime, while maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.
This role would suit a maintenance engineer from a fast-paced manufacturing environment, who wants long-term development, a structured engineering team and progression opportunities.
