2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee repairs, breakdowns and planned maintenance across our Willand site. You will work as part of a defined maintenance team on production machinery and some building services.

The role requires a time-served apprenticeship or NVQ 3, with desirable experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and fast-moving machinery. Excellent development opportunities and a strong benefits package are on offer.

• Fix rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Support the team with machinery breakdowns as needed and contribute to maintenance planning.
• Ensure smooth site operations as part of a wider maintenance team.

About The Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining site operations by overseeing engineering and maintenance repairs, handling breakdowns, and executing planned and preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Engineering and Maintenance repairs on-site, largely for Production Machinery and some building repairs.
• Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Supporting the team with machinery breakdowns as needed and contributing to some maintenance planning.
• Ensuring smooth operations across the site as part of a wider maintenance team.

About You

Key Skills Or Qualifications
