Job summary

Tech-People is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a hospital in Chelsea, London. The role is part-time, 3 days per week, with duties covering AHU maintenance and general building services.

Start next week; hours 8:00am–4:30pm; rate £220 per day; on-site with no parking.

You will work in a live hospital environment, need a valid Basic DBS, and bring hands-on maintenance experience.

Maintenance Engineer - Hospital in Chelsea

£220 per day, 3 days per week, Basic or ideally enhanced DBS Required

• Location: Hospital in Chelsea, London
• Start: Next week
• Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Working days: 3 days per week, ideally Monday to Wednesday
• Rate: £220 per day, based on 8 working hours
• Parking: No on-site parking available

Duties

• Routine maintenance and servicing of AHUs
• Inspecting, maintaining and troubleshooting air handling systems
• Carrying out general mechanical and plumbing maintenance as required
• Identifying faults and ensuring equipment operates efficiently
• Completing maintenance tasks within a live hospital environment
• Supporting general building services maintenance where required

Requirements

• Valid, in-date Basic DBS check (essential)
• Proven, hands-on experience maintaining AHUs - essential
• Previous commercial maintenance experience
• Relevant mechanical or building services qualifications
• Own tools and full PPE
• Ability to work independently in a live hospital environment
