Job Description:

Overview: Multi-skilled, mechanically biased Maintenance Engineers needed to perform PPM and reactive repairs on specialized engineering equipment.

About the Company: Our client is a globally recognized leader in leisure and entertainment, established for nearly 70 years. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join their team.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain high standards of workmanship for rides and equipment.
2. Perform PPM and reactive maintenance to support ride safety, reliability, and performance, collaborating with Operations.
3. Conduct regular checks and adhere to manufacturer guidelines, understanding ride manuals thoroughly.
4. Manage parts procurement, ensuring value for money, and maintain accurate records.
5. Keep workshops and related areas clean and organized, with tools and equipment properly inspected and maintained.
6. Monitor work quality, address non-conformities, and share best practices.
7. Improve communication within the team and report safety issues immediately.
8. Follow PPE and lock-off procedures diligently.
9. Assist in training and undertake necessary training as directed.
10. Utilize maintenance management systems (Mobaro) for reporting and trend analysis, ensuring compliance and certification.

Candidate Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with strong fault diagnosis skills. Additional training in Working at Heights, First Aid, H&S, and MEWP/telehandler is advantageous. Must have experience with maintenance systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work safely at heights and independently within a team environment.
