Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a large pharmaceutical site near Oxford. The role is based on-site in Oxford, Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00, with a salary up to £46,000.

The successful candidate will perform planned and reactive maintenance on a commercial site, with mechanical qualifications (NVQ or equivalent) and experience in building maintenance. The package includes holiday entitlement and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mechanically qualified to NVQ or equivalent.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical works in a commercial setting, including boilers, heating systems and plumbing.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site.
• Ensure all PPM is carried out and documented in real time using the PDA.
• Ensure paperwork is completed for PPM and reactive works and passed to the contract administrator.
• Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe working practices.
• Take part in the on-call rota.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Pharmaceutical Environment – Oxford - £46K

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Oxford has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an static maintenance mechanical bias engineer to be based on large Pharmaceutical site near Oxford. You will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. The successful candidate will have experience working within commercial settings with mechanical qualifications . This is a Monday - Friday role working 8:00-17:00.

Package will include:

• Salary up to £46,000
• 25 + 8 days holiday

• Carry out Mechanical works in a commercial setting, including general plumbing, boilers, heating systems, domestic hot and cold-water systems etc.
• Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator
• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times
• Take part in the on call rota
