Job Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hartlepool

Salary: £43,173 (Inclusive of call out pay) + Company Van + Company Phone + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training and Development Opportunities

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 3.30pm, 7am to 4.30pm, and 1.30pm to 11pm. On call 1 week in 4, paid additionally for call outs.

The role involves working across four sites, including Hartlepool, Washington, and Middlesbrough, on various production and plant machinery. The engineer will focus on preventative and reactive maintenance, working on mobile and static heavy plant equipment such as JCBs, forklifts, telehandlers, excavators, conveyors, hydraulics, and other rotating machinery.

The Successful Candidate:

• Highly proficient at fault finding
• Background in Plant Engineering or related fields; ex-forces encouraged to apply
• Experience in manufacturing environments or extensive work on rotating equipment and conveyors
• Mechanical engineering qualification; plant machinery qualification is advantageous
• Experience with CMMS, gearboxes, motors, bearings, and welding (preferred)
