Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an established FM service provider at a large commercial site in Greenwich, just a 10-minute walk from Greenwich Station.

You’ll be part of a team of 4 engineers, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, with occasional travel to smaller local sites. The role offers a genuine day-shift pattern and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering is essential.
• Experience in a commercial environment with mechanical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services and multi-skilled work ethic.

Responsibilities

• PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance across the main site.
• Fault-finding and repairs on mechanical systems including pumps and valves.
• Work on AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems and heating/hot water systems.
• Operate and monitor BMS and collaborate with the client and engineering team.
• Basic plumbing and general building maintenance.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Day Shift FM Service Provider | Greenwich | Up to £48,500 + Overtime

Are you a mechanically qualified engineer looking for a day-shift role with a great work-life balance and strong earning potential?

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an established FM service provider at a large commercial site in Greenwich, just a 10-minute walk from Greenwich Station.

You’ll work as part of a team of 4 engineers, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the main site, with occasional travel to smaller local sites.

The Role

• PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance
• Fault-finding and repairs across mechanical systems
• Pumps, motors and valves
• AHUs, FCUs and ventilation systems
• Heating and hot water systems
• BMS monitoring
• Basic plumbing and general building maintenance
• Working closely with the client and wider engineering team

Working Hours Monday – Sunday | 5 on / 3 off, 7 on / 2 off, 7 on / 4 off

All shifts fall between 8am – 6pm, offering a genuine day-shift working pattern.

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
• Mechanical maintenance experience within a commercial environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services
• Multi-skilled background
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Able to provide copies of trade certificates
