Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a large commercial site in Greenwich. This day-shift role offers a balanced work pattern with an up to £48,500 salary plus overtime.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, fault-find, and work with pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, FCUs and ventilation. Role includes basic plumbing, site logbook maintenance, and close collaboration with clients and the engineering team.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• In-house/site maintenance experience is essential.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance on site.
• Fault-finding and repairs across mechanical systems.
• Maintain pumps, motors and valves.
• Service AHUs, FCUs and ventilation systems.
• Inspect heating and hot water systems.
• Record & maintain site logbooks and communicate with client.
