Job Description:

This Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role is with one of the UK’s largest manufacturing organisations, offering a salary of up to £48,000 plus a KPI bonus of 5%, excellent industry benefits, pension contributions up to 10%, and significant career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform essential planned mechanical maintenance and repairs to ensure factory operations run smoothly.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, developing new ideas and solutions.
• Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance, inspections, service, and repairs on hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, conveyor systems, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an Advanced Apprenticeship, Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above, or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering/Craft studies.
• Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness.
