Job summary

Alex Young Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a national FM provider in Harwell, near Didcot. You will be the site’s main mechanical engineer, joining a four-person team to perform planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, AHUs, motors, plumbing and water systems.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in mechanical maintenance and the ability to work solo or with others.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in mechanical maintenance.
• Proven track record in a similar role.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, motors, AHU, plumbing, water systems, extract fans, sprinkler testing and fire alarm tests.
• Join the call-out rota and work solo or with your team.

Our client is a national FM Provider with an impressive portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors. It is looking to hire a proven Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Harwell, Didcot.

As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will join a team 4 and be the site’s main mechanical engineer. Your duties will include and not be limited to carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to pumps, motors, AHU, plumbing, water systems, extract fans, sprinkler testing, fire alarm tests and other related building services.

The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer must have a proven track record in a similar role and hold a relevant qualification to NVQ Level 2 or 3. In addition, you will join the call-out rota, be able to work by yourself and together with your team.
