Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a leading construction products manufacturer in the UK. The role involves managing preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating contractors, and supporting site projects on a continental shift pattern (12 hours, days and nights) at the Broomfleet site.

The ideal candidate is apprentice-trained in mechanical engineering with fault-finding skills and has knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery.

Qualifications

• Time served apprentice in mechanical engineering.
• Welding and fabrication knowledge is desirable.
• Health and safety awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage PPM schedules and external contractors.
• Work a continental shift pattern (12-hour days/nights).
• Lead site project activities and drive process improvements.
• Apply hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery knowledge on site.

The Role

The company require an engineer who can work to manage PPM schedules, contractors, working a continental shift pattern. The candidate will have a minimum of a time served apprenticeship and with engineering fault finding skills. In addition to this, you will have a good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, automated machinery, welding and fabrication. You will be involved in a variety of projects on site and be the focus from an electrical point of view process improvement on site. Ongoing training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long-standing group.
