Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a world-leading manufacturer near Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance on CNC benders, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, shafts, inverters and PLC-controlled equipment.

You will operate on a double days shift (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) with weekend overtime opportunities. There is training and career development on offer, plus a pension and overtime earnings.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience of PLCs & Automated Machinery.
• Understanding PPM Systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC benders, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, shafts, inverters and PLC controlled equipment.
• Work with sensors and drives; troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing lines.
• Support training and ongoing skill development for multi-skilled maintenance duties.

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 + Pension + Overtime at weekends to earn £10-20k extra

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background but be multi‑skilled in knowledge and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time‑served engineer with knowledge of PPM systems and have manufacturing machinery experience, within a fast moving manufacturing process. On a day to day basis, you will work with CNC benders, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, pump, bearings, shafts, inverters, sensors, drives and PLC controlled equipment. There is training and career development on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
