FCC Environment in Lincoln is recruiting a Mechanical Lead Technician to head the Mechanical Maintenance Team at our Energy from Waste facility. You will deliver safe, compliant maintenance, lead contractors and drive reliability and continuous improvement.

The role requires at least five years of supervisory Power Plant Maintenance experience, with a strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards.

Qualificações

• HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years' Power Plant Maintenance experience in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements (NEBOSH/IOSH preferable).
• Knowledge of thermal power plant processes, permit/safety systems and technical drawings.
• Proven ability to supervise and develop a small team.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinating and planning daily maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability.
• Providing leadership and direction to the Mechanical Maintenance Team and contractors.
• Managing and developing the team and contract support to deliver scheduled, preventative, breakdown and planned maintenance.
• Ensuring mechanical plant and equipment are maintained, serviced and repaired with proper records.
• Implementing health, safety and environmental policies and supporting site HSE initiatives.
• Managing maintenance contracts, projects and spare parts.
• Assisting with staff appraisals and training needs.
• Outage planning, scheduling and coordination in line with business needs.
• Supervising mechanical maintenance during outages and reviewing contractor documentation.
