Job summary

IMT Resourcing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to assemble mechanical systems and fabricated components to engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves sub-assembly, final assembly, and ensuring quality.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components, mark and cut materials, and prepare weld joints while prioritising safety and precision in every task.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering experience and a strong mechanical background.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out sub-assembly, production fitting and final assembly.
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Mark, cut, fold and bend materials, including pipework.
• Prepare weld joints and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Check assemblies for alignment, dimensions and quality.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
