Job description

The CompanyOur client is a well known, family owned local business with an established history of over half a century. They are a heavy automotive engineering company who manufacture top quality equipment for industries locally and beyond. They have been growing from strength to strength, and they have moved to a massive, brand new workshop in recent years in East Christchurch.

The RoleAs part of a team, you will be fitting and assembling custom parts to build the equipment, which will include hydraulics, pneumatics and other systems. You will need to be experienced with hand tools and power tools, and ensure that parts are fitted correctly according to drawings. This is a hands-on and physical roles, where you may be working with large and heavy equipment. There will also be some repair work from time to time. Ideally, you will be trade qualified or a time served fitter with practical engineering experience.

In summary, the requirements are,

• Engineering aptitude and able to read drawings
