Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter / Assembler to join a long-established, innovative manufacturer of high-performance equipment, based in Bridlington.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building mechanical assemblies and modules from engineering drawings and diagrams
• Stripping down and reassembling machinery to a high standard
• Assembling sub-systems to tight tolerances with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Working from technical drawings and SOP's to ensure work is completed to spec
• Supporting production targets within a busy manufacturing environment
• Using hand tools, power tools and manual equipment safely and efficiently
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work area

What we’re looking for:

• A solid background in mechanical fitting or mechanical assembly within engineering or manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical, practical approach
• A positive, proactive attitude and good communication skills
• A BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
