Location:Doncaster

Employment Type:On-going 3 month plus

Working Hours:07:00 16:30 Monday to Friday

Salary:Competitive, based on experience

The Best Connection are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our Doncaster based client and contribute to maintaining and assembling mechanical equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
• Assist with up and coming projects
• Small amount of TIG welding
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve machinery efficiency
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
  
  

Requirements

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in various environments
• Relevant certifications or apprenticeship qualifications preferred
